I think 3 or 4 PM would be good. Our videographer got there right before the ceremony started. He took some exterior shots, and filmed our guests being seated in the church... and then it was time to start the ceremony!
In our case, I really just wanted him to film the ceremony and a big chunk of the reception. If you really want some getting ready video (which I wouldn't have minded!), you could always have one of your bridesmaids play with an inexpensive camcorder, or the video feature on someone's camera. That way, you have a little bit of footage to remember everything by!

I only have my videographer for six hours. It was a very last minute add so that is be best we can do. So now I'm trying to figure out how to get the most our of those six hours.
Food for thought:
I'll finish up getting ready at around 1:30 to 2:00 pm because we're doing the first look. The actual ceremony doesn't start until 4:45pm and the reception starts at 6:00pm.
I'd like some "getting ready" video, but I suppose that isn't the most important part of the day and the photos will suffice.
What time should I have her arrive? Maybe 3pm so we'd have for for a big part the reception?
Thoughts?
TIA!
