Okay, let me start by saying I have met the bulk of his family. The only ones I have not yet met are his father and youngest brother. Since they live in Puerto Rico, it has been hard. Anyway, they will be coming this year for Christmas and New Year’s. I cannot make it for Christmas, but New Year’s is okay. They have a huge party at a long time family friends house, and she told me after I met her last month, that she would love for me to come for the New Year. I want to bring something, as an invited guest. My FI told me that gifts are not necessary, but I was thinking more a bottle (or two) of wine and some homemade cookies. I made some Puerto Rican cookies for him to take to his sisters for Christmas and they were devoured. My question is: Is a bottle or two of wine and cookies enough? I want to say thank you for inviting me, but I don’t want to over do it, or not bring enough.
