Undergarments you might wear with your dress…bra, panties, spanx, etc.  A camera! 🙂

Yeah… Don’t forget to bring your undergarments with you… What you wear underneath will have a big impact on how it is altered…

I personally was not prepared for how off the dress looked at my first fittng because it wasn’t fitted to me yet… It just looked like a shapeless tube… very unflattering… Once all of the pins were put in I breathed a sigh of relief… much better… (and then at the second fitting it looked perfect…)

Definitely underwear! I didn’t have alterations on my dress and didn’t realize until only a couple days before how see-through looking the bottom of the dress was! I could very clearly see my black panties through it. Made me panic. And a correctly fitting bra will totally change the shape of the dress on you – I’d go for a bra fitting a couple days before if you can.

The actual shoes you’re going to wear for the wedding, the actual undergarments you’re going to wear for the wedding (be careful here – if you switch bras your dress might fit differently), any kind of slip or crinoline that you’ll wear.  If you have any pictures that show how you want your dress bustled bring those along too so your seamstress can get a good idea of what you want done.

Oh boy…my first fitting is on Saturday and I have nothing ready! I was waiting to buy jewelry, shoes, veil, upon seeing the dress again. It’s a unique color and i can’t just buy white …although I guess you could interpret me as totally procrastinating!!

The one thing i do not know where to start with is the undergarment (bra). The one they let me use while trying on the dress is perfect but i have no idea what type it was so that i can order it. Hopefully, they have them to buy there or at least I can find out what it is/size etc.

Now i’m nervous 🙂

If you are wearing a veil bring that too so you can get the whole look!  Don’t forget to take picutures!
