Rehearsal “cocktails”? “Champagne celebration honoring the couple”?

How about calling it a Rehersal party? Then specifying what will be served – “Join us after for dessert and champagne!”

Why not just say “Join Us for Something Sweet & Bubbly?”

My wedding is going to be in august and it will be so hot! My fiance will be working until 5pm an hour out of town so we wouldnt be able to start it until 6 but then everyone will want to eat around that time! so pretty much we decided to have the rehearsal at 730 pm and send out invitations for a rehearsal dessert after the rehearsal and we will just tell everyone to eat their own dinner in advance! i am not a nice person when i am hungry and i know my sisters arent! haha what did you end up calling it?
