I'm debating on a theme for my wedding. I'm thinking vintage, because I'll be wearing the Casablanca 1900 dress thats lace and I think it looks vintage. Any idea's Bee's on how to decorate for a vintage theme. Think vintage glam!

Theres a lot of examples of vintage weddings on blogs such as stylemepretty.com, green wedding shoes blog, 100 layer cake, etc. Look at those their are a ton of weddings that are vintage you could get ideas from.

Vintage glam weddings are all the rage and you can find examples everywhere-I agree go to stylemepretty first so you don't get too overwhelmed.

Why not tie the vintage theme in with a book? The great gatsby, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Romeo and Juliet, Outlander. All great love stories with hundres of pages of inspiration.

Im also planning a vintage/Midcentury modern themed wedding and one thing that have found helpful is looking outside the wedding world for inspiration. my current favorite is browsing through vintage copies of life magazine on google books you can find some great inspiration for decor, graphic design and clothing in them. HTH!

I am wearing the Casablanca 1900 as well! I actually choose it got the vintage feel! I am getting married in a church from 1851! As far as the reception we are going for more of a rustic vintage feel! Our theme is actually a rustic tree theme! What have you decided on!

    This sounds so beautiful...

I would agree and go with a Jane Austen sort of approach. Maybe watch a couple of her movies to get a feel for the atmosphere and whatnot. They're fabulous movies and have TONS of great ideas.

You could also incorporate mason jars with candles in them. All different sizes, shapes, etc. That's what we're doing for our wedding to add to our "vintage" feel.

Good luck! Let us know what you decide to go with!
