How about $5 gift cards and/or certs of random shopping/movie/food stores? My mom does this for her classroom and it’s a real hit with them…Plus, you can never go wrong with a gift that that hard age gets to pick themselves!!!!

I have a little sister that is a “tween” and she personally loves anything with peace signs and the 60s style flowers.  Maybe you could buy peace sign and flower charms and put one on a chain for necklaces for each of the girls?  I’m not really sure what boys like though…I’m not much help with them!

Silly bands? Or are those for younger girls.

Cds and covers are very inexpensive at Staples, Office Depot, etc. Teens love music. I was originally going to say food but that’s not an option as you said.
