You could go on a photo scavenger hunt around town. It won't be too strenuous and it'll get you out and about.
I have a couple of links to ideas to take photos of:

Hope this helps!
(Btw, I totally saw a list that had "A photo of you hugging a Fleet Farm employee.")
Well. I feel your pain and also live in BFE, so I've been working on my hobbies to keep me distracted and busy. :)
-Just started composting (see Red Worm Composting from Bentley Christie and The Worm Dude blogs)
-Contemplating some chickens and a milk goat (I realize this is an intense endeavor)
-And I decided I could built things, after a lot of research on ana-white.com.
Just built the farmhouse bed and planning to build the nursery armoire, even though I'm not pregnant yet, but I know it will be a multi-use item. It does not have to be over-strenuouse (for the pregnancy).
-Planning the baby room. Just getting OUT OF TOWN! :)
-Reading the Pioneer Woman blog and the book, The Egg and I (which I got from the Pierre library, sorry. You won't find it there :). The Egg and I is about a woman that moved to a chicken farm in the middle of nowhere. I'm not far into it, but it makes me laugh and I can relate.
Good luck!

Sorry, there are no users yet.
So I am feeling really down today. The weather is gloomy (snowy, right around freezing temps) and everything is boring me. I'm also bummed about upcoming papers and how I am going to pay for all my internet classes this summer. I figured that maybe if I got out of the house I would perk up. So my question to you is what should I do?
Keep in mind, I am in rural South Dakota... The nearest movie theatre is an hour away. There is a drive-in closer, but that's obviously only open in the summer. PLUS, none of the three movies that are playing at either Pierre or Huron look enticing.
Any other suggestions? I'm thinking of going to Runnings (if you're from South Dakota, this ought to make you smirk). They might have bunnies or chicks I can admire. I can't really do anything else too strenuous or go drinking either because I'm pregnant... I wish it was mini-golf season!! THAT I could handle.
Thanks for the help in advance!! :)
