So on my wedding day I want to have my great-grandmothers sapphire ring on me somewhere. My mom gave it to me when I was 8 for dress up and I used to pretend it was my wedding ring! I can’t were it on my hand because I’ll be wearing my e-ring on my right and then I’ll get my wedding ring on my right at the ceremony. I need ideas on where to keep it. So far I thought about putting it on a chain and wearing it around my neck, or maybe tying to to my bouquet. I want it to be my “something old.”
This is what it looks like except it’s yellow gold.

I think tying it to your bouquet is a very cute idea. What flowers are you using?

Is there no way you can have a relative (your mum, auntie) hold on to the ring for you and then you can put it on your right hand once you’ve made the switch of the e-ring on to the left hand with the wedding band. I did this with two precious rings I wanted to wear on my right hand. Not sure if that’s an option for you.

Bouquet is a good idea, but you could always wear the ering and this ring on your rt hand, and after you have the band on your left, switch the e ring over really quick. I doubt anyone will notice the few extra seconds it takes.

I like the idea of tying it to the bouquet.
