Some people are just difficult. It sounds like she might be one of those. Maybe she’s jealous you’re getting married?

I would go dress shopping with her again and say something like this “So, I understand that you’re not really finding a dress that suits your tastes, and you definately won’t wear it again, but it means alot to me that you chooose one of these three styles for my wedding day.”

You can once again offer to pay for half. But she needs to be clear that you have picked a style and she needs to go with it if she wants to be in the wedding party.

I’m guessing she doesn’t havea any body issues that are stopping her from picking a dress?

Hopefully she chills out some!

It is possible that she is being difficult for the sake of being so. She’s made it clear that she probably won’t wear the dress again. I would tell her that, even though you want everyone to have a dress they’re comfortable in, you need your bridesmaids to have a common look. Let her know that means nothing overly short/tight. Given her actions I would ,nicely, also ask if she’s still interested in being in the wedding. It’s possible that her actions are her way of getting out of being a bridesmaid.
