I’m going to leave mine where it is and then after the ceremony I will swap them so the wedding band goes on first and then my e-ring.

I was going to wear mine on my right hand but I forgot, lol.  So when it was time for the rings to be exchanged, my officiant just said to swap them out.

Could you leave it with your wedding band and have him put both of them on you during the ceremony?

@Jabberwocky:  This is what Mike and I did.  It worked great.

I had mine on my right hand and just quick put it back on my left after we walked back down the “aisle.”

Will it fall off your pinky of your right hand?  You could always have him give you both rings during the ceremony.

I left the e-ring off and put it back on right after the ceremony.  It was really fun to wear my wedding band and e-ring together for the first time at the reception.  🙂

im adding the engagement ring piece into my ceremony!  Not sure what i will do with my ring before that, i will probally give it to him so he can put it back on during that part of the ceremony.  This is the engagement ring part:

The engagement ring is a symbol of promise and intention. Now the intention is realized and the promise fulfilled. R, please place the engagement ring on J’s finger over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage.”

Most people I know wear it on their right, but if yours doesn’t fit you could just swap them after the ceremony.  Since we’re not having guests I plan to just leave it where it is and he can pop it off, put on the band, and pop it back on!
