I'm not sure if there are any alternatives to gocco, but have you checked ebay? I bought one off of their a few months ago for my friend. They also have a lot of gocco supplies on ebay if you're looking for them.
If you like the look of slightly raised print, you could always emboss your invitations with something. Good luck!
i've heard that screen printing is a good alternative. not sure what we're going to use, but i definitely see your point! i also want to have something that works well with the STD's, napkins... all of the other DIY projects we have in store. and i've heard screen printing takes longer. ...
Check Ebay for options... But I feel I have to warn you - I bought a gocco machine and because we are having a pretty large (by my standards anyway) wedding party of 300, I nearly killed my back and lost a bit of sleep on the designs (plus we had to cut our own paper). I am still slowly working on them (even though our wedding is in May). I am still divided over whether it was worth the effort. Basically if you decide to get one, it will be fun but there will be a lot of work involved! :)

I have fallen for Gocco. After dying for all the fantastic, unique gocco-printed invitations i've seen on Weddingbee and elsewhere on the web, i reallllly wanted one for my own invitations. However, the printers are now very expensive and the supplies are scarce. I don't think the investment is worth it this late in the game.
So what to do??? Are there any good alternatives to gocco? Are any bees out there making any post-gocco plans for printing? I feel pretty confident in designing the invitations myself, but i am hesitant to print them on an inkjet/laser printer. I really want them to look professional, and love the slightly raised print of a goccoed print.
Any thoughts or suggestions???
