I would scour the internet or buy a magazine that dedicated to short hair styles (you can find them in the magazine section of your supermarket, Target, WalMart, etc.). Or just go to you stylist and check out the books there and ask your stylist for suggestions.
Also, check out Project Wedding. They have tons of pictures and I know I've seen some short hair styles. A couple of them actually made me rethink (just for a moment) growing out my own hair.
What about a headband or a couple decorated bobby pins? I think it's nice to add something special for your wedding day hair, but if it's so short you can't do anything but your regular style, people will still know you're the bride. You could just wear extra/bigger/fancier jewelry or more dramatic make-up instead!
What about a romantic and cute head band?
i too have super short hair...like 2 inches at the longest point. I didnt wear a veil or birdcage because of my style of dress either. i ordered a fascinator from etsy. its attached with a small-toothed comb and it worked perfectly. i ordered 3 or 4 flowers with different attachments and the alligator clips and standard sized combs jjust would not stay. i can message you a picture if you like.
I am planning on a fun flapper inspired look, as I'm planning on wearing my great grandmother's dress and I have an antique ring.

I am not wearing a veil and a birdcage veil does not go with the style of my dress. My hair is too short for any kind of barette or comb. Have any fantastic suggestion for what to do with my hair on wedding day?
