Today my mom and I went to take pictures of the venue I'm using in Oct. I was really hoping that the chairs for the ceremony wouldn't look like this. But they do. So I ask you. You lovely, crafty Bees out there. What the heck should I do with these chairs (to decorate the aisle) Thanks for any and all thoughts.

Are you going to be leaving the chairs as they are, or did you want to see if you could cover them some way?

Those are the ceremony chairs. I want to do something to mark the aisle (ie. tulle, pew bows or anything else that would work since there's no where to hook anything on to)

Oh, and I don't plan on covering them totally, it seems like too much work. What to do with these chairs... : wedding Icon Biggrin

Seriously..is it out of the budget for renting new chairs?

I truly hate to ask this.  But I'd rent some white chiavari chairs (for some reason they're a tad cheaper).  Or some white folding chairs even.  I'd dress up the backs of the chairs if you have to go with these, with some tulle/fabric in your wedding colors and at the back where you tie the fabrics together, I'd tuck in a little bloom.

@ bellenga yes, renting is not an option. I do really like your fabric idea. Thanks!

Make sure magnets will stick to those chairs though.

I'm trying to picture whether this would look good or really strange, but could you maybe rent white chair covers just for the chairs lining the aisle? (Those are the ones that will be most prominent in your pics! )

Otherwise, I would maybe tie fabric bows in white or one of your wedding colors around all the chairs lining the aisle--like this:

I was thinking chair covers for just the aisle ones. Would that look ok, do you think? I like the bow idea as well. What to do with these chairs... : wedding Icon Biggrin
