Hi there! With our wedding in just over 10 days, it is now the little details that are bugging me!
My latest ‘dilemma’ – who looks after the wedding bands?!
Do they come with me to where I am getting ready for the cute detail photos? Do they go with groom because…?

You can take them with you so the photographer can get pictures of them and then have someone deliver them to the best man (he holds the rings) before the ceremony starts.

I’ll have them day of.. Then before we head over to the venue, my stepdad will take them and keep them in his pocket!

Our photographer is going to take the ring shot after the ceremony while we are signing the marriage license so she doesnt have to disturb us during the reception. Up until that time Im keeping his and he’s keeping mine and right before the actual ceremony were handing them off to the best man and the maid of honor….

DH had our rings and took them to the venue – then they got brought to me to tie into our ring holder – got some cute pics of this so glad DH didnt trust himself to tie a pretty bow 🙂
once they were secure in the book they got taken back to the best man who looked after them.

Wurly: They came with me for the details/getting ready photos. BM brought them to the ceremony. Our ring bearer had a meltdown (Which was adorable and hilarious and I didn’t care at all…I kind of expected it) so she just carried them down and passed them to the MOH to pass to the officiant. They were supposed to make it to the BM but it just didn’t work out that way!

My husband had them on the day of the wedding, photographer took photos of them while groom and groomsmen were getting ready, then best man was made to make sure he had them in his pocket for the ceremony! I did make sure I reminded husband several times before the wedding day…….don’t forget the rings! Photographer also made sure they were there on the day!

I had them with me while I got ready. After we did the first look we had about an hour to waste before the ceremony started. That is when I gave them to the best man.

Wurly: When our friend were married they brought the rings with them and I think the groom held on to them until they were married. They took photos with them as well before they got married.

Ours actually sat up at the front of the church in a ring box near our unity box. The photographer and videographer did take turns using them in photos and video for some detailed shots.
