Let’s say his last name and you future last name is ‘Smith’.  You could engrave Team Smith. I know someone who did this and I thought it was really cool.  The same thing was engraved in her band.

Oh my gosh, my fiance is the best man in a wedding next month.  The guy’s fiance had “Never to Part” from “License to Wed” engraved on his ring, and she called the jewelery store every day to make sure they didn’t put “Never to Fart” like in the movie!

@stephinPA-I love that!

I’m putting our date – it’s because he wants it – that way, just in case he looses his mind, he will always know when to buy me my something pretty!

First, a word of warning – if you’re planning to do this as a suprise, make sure the ring fits! FI lost a bunch of weight, and AFTER I had the ring engraved, we had to have it re-sized and re- engraved!

In FI’s ring, I had the date, then “No Matter What”  , something we say all the time. Not just for forever, but for no matter what.

I’m putting ILYM, which stands for I Love You More…it’s a joke we have between us two, so I know he’ll get a kick out of it.

I think that all the standard things are nice… but if you can think of something that means something to YOU that is even better because its unique. Is there anything you often say to each other? Or something about the first time you told each other you loved each other or the day he proposed?

I’m a seminary student and love Hebrew – I translated the Song of Songs reading for our wedding. So I had his ring engraved in Hebrew with the phrase “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” (Funny story – the engraver said it was an extra dollar per character for Hebrew, and I was grumpy about that until I realized that the verse is 17 characters shorter in Hebrew than in English!)

lol. I am having “this much” engraved in his ring with our date. It’s a little thing with us. One would ask the other

“do you love me?”

“yes”

“How much?”

*throws arms as wide open as they can go* “this much”

Embarassed

Aw, these are all so sweet! I’m kind of regretting not engraving our rings.

I want to engrave his ring with “Moo” and then the date. “Moo” is a silly name that we call each other (and everything else!) so it’ll be our little thing to make us smile when we’re apart.
