if i know them well, i often go to the clearance rack.  sometime, you can get some nice clothes for $15 of that rack.

books and educational toys are good too.

Books like “No, David!” and “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus”.  Silly easy reads with great pictures.  Encourages personal time with parents and children.  Plus, they are so silly I always enjoyed reading them to teach proper behavior and manners.

i also like books, or educational toys. clothes are one of those things that can be hit or miss with kids. plus, they don’t really care about clothes at that age. so i tend to do books or educational toys.
