@mrsjets:  ah, I never had 4 hostesses of any of my bridal showers and will only have one hostess for baby shower so I don’t know! I gave my sister a Coach wristlet for hosting my bridal shower. I gave my MIL & SIL 2 giftcards for spa massages when they hosted my other bridal shower (I had 2). So they were kind of pricey—I wouldn’t have done that for 4 different people, i’m afraid.

Maybe 4 giftcards to the movies? I’d include the price of 2 tickets & 2 drinks and it should be under $30 i’d say for each of them? That’s all I got:) Interested to hear others’ ideas.

A well written card is always the first place to start.  People really like to know that they were appreciated.  I think a gift card or a little basket of stuff (think like bath stuff) would be really nice.  Some movie theaters have prepare baskets that include tickets, a candy, and vouchers for drinks/popcorn.  🙂

@mrsjets:  HMM Good question…I gave mine to my sister after everybody left. I told her to come over to me and that I had something special for her because of all she’s done for me. But you can mail them witht he thank you cards too if you send them out before baby arrives:) I know some people get so busy in their pregnancy that they don’t send out thank yous for a long time

For my bridal showers (both which had 5 hostesses each) I just went to Pike Place Market and got gorgeous bouquets of fresh cut flowers. I think that, along with a nice thank you note, is sufficient. That, or a bottle of wine 🙂 Things like bath products and gift cards seem a little out of place for a hostess gift, since truly it’s just a thank you and not really in the same realm as the random office Christmas party where you’re forced to bring white elephant gift (where things like that would be appropriate).
