Our resort gave all of our guests a discount at the restaurants, bars, spa, etc so information on that will also be in my welcome info packet.
I am also adding a list of guests names & photos, and how we know them. Our wedding guest list is only at 25 but most of our guests haven't met each other... and we're not doing any official wedding functions until the night before the wedding, even though some guests are arriving 3 days prior. This way they'll be able to know who is part of the wedding group when they're wandering around the resort.
I think that is perfect!! We are including some directions cards, an itinerary card with our schedule, local restaurants, grocery store, pharmacy and hospital and then our other things we are putting in as well.
Wow that's a really unique and awesome idea, never thought of that! Our wedding is a little big to include all the guests but just had a thought maybe something about our bridal party and how we know them etc. Thanks for the suggestion!
word to the wise: you may want to NOT include your phone number, but instead, your MOH or your mother's....you might end up with a zillion phone calls day of otherwise.
I did think about that in terms of our number but on wedding day, I won't have my phone on me, it's really on there for the night bedore.. and I did original have MOH and BM on there but we have 2 of each and I thought it was over kill to have both and didn't want the other ones to feel bad!
I'm gonna put a little about each of us and how we met on there as well, along with brochures about the area (my mom can get those for us free), a little about the party, and an itinerary and directions...
Then we're adding other things like mints, water, granola bars, and hot chocolate mix (Minnesota winter wedding) in there for fun
