I had snacks, bottles of water, a t shirt, pens, note pads, etc.
I got married in Georgia too! :-) But Im originally from Maryland
We put:
-2 mini water bottles per bag
-2 quaker granola bars
-handful of mini candy bars (twix, snickers, kit kat, etc)
-itinerary card
-envelope with directions cards
-1 bag of crab chips
-photo sharing card
-welcome postcard
We did yellow and green gift bags and I ordered labels off vistaprint with our monogram/date to put on the bags. They looked great!
foood!!!! people love food and can do without the random junk. of course local things are nice and necesitties for travelling like sunblock or coupons to local places. even a coupon for discounted breakfast at the hotel would be nice!
I wanted a semi-destination thing too! :) So where in the mountains? do you have a link to a website maybe?

We're having a semi-destination wedding, getting married in the North GA mountains where FI's family is from. This means that 1/2 of our very small guest list will be travelling from out of state. I want to have some OOT bags for them when they check in, but I'm not sure what to put in them.
I planned to put one bottle of water per person, some brochures & maps of the local area, but I have no idea what else?
Any suggestions?
