I am struggling with what to put on the front of my pocketfolds. I want to put a piece of nice paper around them but I can’t come up with what to put on the seam. Has anybody just put a piece of paper or ribbon around their pocketfold invitations without a monogram, seal, or something similar? Did the seam look really bad? I am not changing my name so we can’t just do the one letter monogram and I am having a hard time coming up with any other designs I like. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can get some great wedding suitable stamps to use with wax seals, not just online, but at Michael’s, Jo-Anne’s etc

We wrapped a ribbon around our invite suite and joined it with a small square of scrapbook paper that I stamped with the word “Love”. Simple, and it did the trick.

For my invitations, I used ribbon (would work for a belly band as well) with our initials and our date underneath.

I created a free monogram with our first initials at http://www.weddingchicks.com. I then sized it down and put it into a word document, with about 24 per page, and printed and cut them out.

I think I plain belly band is fine! For a personal touch, I wrote the first names of the invited guests on a square attached to the belly band (where others put the monogram), kind of an informal inside envelope altenativ.
