Hi Everyone, I’m new to weddingbee so bare with me!
My Mother-In-Law to be passed away a couple of years before I met my fiance, I’ll be doing a speech at my wedding and I want to say something nice about her. Maybe the fact that I never met her, I’m not really sure, but I’m out of ideas on what to say? Has anyone been in this position or does anyone have any ideas?! Thank you! xx

I would probably say something along the lines of “I would like to take a moment of thanks and rememberance for DH’s loving mother. She raised the man of my dreams and I will be eternally grateful to her for that.”

BridalBecky: You could just mention that along with everyone else in attendance, you are sad that she isn’t able to share your special day and that she is and will always be in your thoughts! And maybe say how grateful you are that she brought an amazing man into your life!
