Do both! One for the visual "wow factor" and one for ease of use!
I say digital with a folder, but not printed. She will likely want to adjust the lists based on her own ideas, details etc.
Put all the files you found good on the memory stick, and then you can order a nice file folder off amazon and have it shipped to her.
That way she can edit it all to her style. Maybe slip in some coupons for chats (not sure how far she is from you), to have you help her.
Maybe do some google.docs so you can help her too?

Hi bees,
One of my bridesmaids just got engaged and she'll actually be getting married a few weeks before me. Her wedding is this upcoming summer and she really has no idea where to start with the wedding planning and needs some ideas for colours, invitations, centerpieces, etc.
I'd like to send her a little something to help her get going with the planning. As of right now, I have two ideas.
The first idea is to use a cute filefolder thing I have and fill it with wedding-related images I print or pull from wedding magazines. I would use separate compartments for invitations, centerpieces, checklists, etc. She could then use this folder as her own wedding organizer as she collects her own ideas, receipts, etc.
The second idea is to just save the inspiration images to a memory stick (or jump drive, whatever you call it!) and mail her that.
Keep in mind, I would be sending all this in the mail. I feel like the memory key is definitely easier to mail, but the filefolder would be so much more fun to open. Is it a waste to print and collect all those images? Is it worth the extra postage? What would you guys do?
