Weddingbee boards

I'm having my legal ceremony a year before the big party. i wonder what to wear to the court house. it will just be outselves and our witnesses. i want to look nice but not spend a lot and not be overdone since this is not our REAL ceremony, just the legal one.

would you bring flowers? would you wear white? also, it is winter (dec 1) and a lot of casual or cocktail dresses might be too cold. thank you!

We will be doing the same thing. I am wearing a knee lenght dark gray dress and some red pumps. I skipped on the flowers but will be going to a nice dinner just the 2 of us and my 2 witness!

I have a facebook friend who did this, and she posted pictures.  She wore a cute sundress and had a little boquet with her (that I think she picked from her garden).  Then they and their parents went out for dinner.  There really aren't any rules about dress code for a civil ceremony.
