I recently got engaged and am so excited to begin planning for our wedding!
We want to get our engagement photos taken soon while the weather is still nice, but I can’t think of what to wear or what colors to wear. Any suggestions? Any pics of fellow bees from your engagement photo shoot will be helpful!!!!

I’m currently trying to plan our outfits for our e-shoot as well!
I do know that stripes look bad, but looking to see what everyone wore!
Ps – I am leaning towards a sundress for one set of pics and dark skinny jeans and a cute top for another.

I did 2 looks… I went Red for the Dressy Look (and its one of my wedding colors) and I wore white for my Casual look (Bridal Like)

I’m planning what to wear for our pics too 🙂 We’re taking them in a couple weeks in coastal Maine. I think for our first look I’m going to wear this dress
and my fiance is going to wear a dark gray polo shirt and dark jeans. For a second look, he’s going to wear a navy sweater and I’m going to wear a navy and white floral print dress and a gray sweater. I like wearing bright colors normally, but since the scenery in our pics will be so beautiful, we wanted to do colors for our clothes that wouldn’t distract from it.

We went super casual. Those outfits we had already – I really liked how the jeans fit me and I really liked his shirt – haha, so that’s how we picked. 🙂 Be comfortable!!

Mind you James was supposed to iron his pants…clearly didn’t get done! But that’s him and that’s why I love em!
And my outfit didn’t even match really. I wore gold shoes but you can hardly see them in the pics so I guess it didn’t matter.
We ended up really loving how they all turned out!

Keeping it general, I tell my clients to be themselves, and dress as if they were going out for a nice night (dinner, lounge, etc). However, you really need select location first. Once the location is selected you will know how much to dress up or dress down to compliment the location.
Again, keeping it general, avoid busy patterns, and for you, I would keep at least your shoulders covered.
