It’s the black tights/leggings that are distracting me! Top part looks great, not sure about the boots yet

@JillianMarie2013:  I voted other. I agree with above commenter your top half is great! I love the dress, fascinator and dress. It really suits you!

I think its either the combo of the brown boots with the black tights or vice versa. I think black boots would be too much black. Maybe either switch the the boots to black and the tights to white/skin tone/or something that matches your dress closely or keep the brown boots with tights that are a lighter colour.

Good luck on your elopement! It sounds so romantic… if not cold as well lol!

I live in Colorado and the mountains are COLD! Although I love your fur, I think you’d be best looking for a knee-length white pea coat and maybe put a fantastic brooch on it.

Right now, what I see is dark-light-dark. Visually it chops you up into three sections. The contrast between the leggings and the hem of the dress is distracting. It might look better as a more monochromatic look with cream/nude/taupe colored leggings. That way the majority of your outfit will be cream, with the brown fur and boots as accents.

I think many Bees worry way too much about the cold. I am assuming the wedding is not outdoors, although you may have some pics taken outside.

I think your height is chopped up into too many sections by the 4 different colors- the fur, the dress, the tights and the boots.

I would find some knit tights as close as possible to the dress color or the boot color. Either one of those will lengthen the line the eye travels.

See how the tights matching the ankle boots in color makes her look taller.

same here where the tights match the tunic/blouse

To me it just looks like a regular outfit and doesn’t saying wedding at all. I dunno if that’s what your going for. What about something like this:

I dont like the black tights with the brown boots. I would have them all one color.

@JillianMarie2013:  First of all, I adore your expression. Cracked me up to see you so excited! Secondly, I’d either get black boots so that your leggings and boots blend into each other color-wise, and/or I’d get a white furry shawl or pea coat as mentioned above. I’d also consider wearing white gloves maybe with little black accents to tie in the boots/leggings (little black bows?) I think it is the brown of the fur, gloves and boots that is making it all a little busy, but if you stick with a black and white mix that’ll look stylish and give some nice pop of contrast. Congratulations!
