@Orchd12:  I wear bikinis because thongs are not comfortable for me, on any day, even my wedding day. And TBH my FI doesn’t care for sexy lingerie. He actually likes my granny panties (which is I think what bikinis have become). But I say wear whatever you’re comfy with.

Go comfy… it will be a very very long day !!

    Plain-Jane White Cotton Undies work.

But at the same time you’ll want to investigate appropriate foundation garments for your dress if needed so you look your best (ie long line bra, corset, Spanks… that sort of thing to smooth you out and give you a great shape)

When you get back to your Honeymoon Suite if you are like most Bees you’ll have plenty of time to unwind and change into your frilly bits…

Many Brides & Grooms choose to talk about the day, maybe order some Room Service, pop some Bubbly … have a long hot shower (or bath) and then get on with the other stuff.

I was very happy (both Weddings) to get out my Wedding Dress finally.

So save your fussy bits for after you’ve had your shower or bath.

Mr TTR & I eloped… we went back to our room and called people to tell em our news.  Then we had a nice hot shower, I changed into my “Wedding Night outfit” and Cover-up Robe, we popped the bubbly, and sat out on our Balcony overlooking the ocean (close to a full moon, stars, waves crashing etc) and talked about our day.

    It was awesome !!
