Wear whatever you'll be comfortable in and that matches the style of the event. I don't think there are any rules against wearing white, but I also don't think you have to. If I had an engagement party, I'd probably wear cream/beige, I think.

this is what ive ordered for my engagement party, thought id share in case you liked it. the colour is called 'nude', however it looks more white so dont think itll help. hope you have a wonderful night!

My FI and I are hosting a drinks thing/party at his house, just with friends, mum and dad are probably going to have a more formal family party further on into the engagement (since it will be super long), and I want to get a new dress, just don't know what to wear! should i wear white? cocktail dress or more casual?
