My sister is having an outdoor wedding around 2 in the afternoon. It s kind of a rustic theme The colors are turquoise and blue.I’m not a bridesmaid but I don’t know if I should try and wear the wedding colors or not. I don’t go to many weddings so I’m not sure. I had thought about wearing a darkish pink dress (not neon but kinda hot pinkish) will that clash badly In the pictures? The bride and groom are wearing cowboy boots and I’m sure some of the guests will be to,should I wear boots or will heels be fine? Thanks in advance

You don’t have to match the bridesmaids at all. Chances are you won’t be in many pictures with them unless they are also family members. Wear your darkish pink dress, and wearing boots is again up to you. Just dress like you are going to a wedding only knowing the theme is 2pm rustic and nothing else 🙂

Missme83: If she didn’t specifically ask you to wear turquoise or blue than you should wear whatever color you want. Same goes for footwear.

I don’t think it’s cool to try to match the bridesmaid colors on purpose, although I’m sure other people will, accidently. If the venue is outdoors, and you have to walk on uneven surfaces, I think you should ditch the idea of wearing heels.

You shouldn’t try to match the bridesmaids. Just pick a dress and wear it. It doesn’t have to be anything specific. I wouldn’t wear heels if it’s in grass/dirt etc…. unless they are wedges
