My dress is very low in the back, so I went for sewn in cups and I’ll be using some of that double-side fashion tape to keep everything in place 🙂

I’m all about sewn in cups I have done them for every formal gown I have ever worn. So comfy and gives the coverage without worrying about bras showing/slipping etc. I am going to do the same for my wedding gown. How’s the front…is it a low V?

Sew-in cups so you don’t have to worry about adjusting or showing anything throughout the day.

@DreamingofDiamonds:  I’m a 34D and has issues with the sewn in cups in a formal gown BUT that could be due to the cut on that particular dress.  Since yours has cap sleeves it may fit tighter.  Your seamstress should be able to tell you if it will work on your dress.  I ended up with a Nu-Bra which actually worked pretty well.

Ask your seamstress. I got cups and I think that’s pretty common, but my dress has a higher back. The seamstress should be able to tell you if cups would work or if there isn’t enough support etc.

@DreamingofDiamonds:  I’m not too sure. Sadly, I’m more on the mosquito bites side :/

I think if the top is structured it might work with sew-ins. Also, I think they can sew in something that is like a convertible bra where it still might be able to fasten in the back, just lower (like an X).

@DreamingofDiamonds:  Yes and the price is usually like $20. I haven’t asked aabout it for my bridal gown but I overheard the seamstress that of coursr they do that.
