I would go with option one. I find dresses are much safer when you're not sure what to wear. But all of them look really nice!
Haha, that's such a cute expression you're making. I vote for option 1. Classy and pretty without being too formal. And I think it will go well with your SO's suit. Have fun!
I like option 1, but if you think you might be too dressed up (although I doubt you would be) I like option 3.
I agree #1.... I think it's always safer to be dressier. Plus that dress isn't super dressy. If I'm ever not sure about the dress code, I wear a dress I'd wear to work. That way it's fancier/traditional because it's a dress, but because it's work approrpriate it isn't TOO dressy. You can wear work-dresses to MOST occasions!
Haha...you're all confirming the option I wanted to wear all along but wasn't sure about! Woot! The downside is that I'll have to disguise the poison ivy spots on my legs, but that's not such a big deal. Option one it is. :) Thanks, hive!
@Minut-- have you tried the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs? My mom uses it allll the time. Its like leg makeup with a little self-tanner in it. They have it at Walgreens and CVS in the nail polish section with the other Sally Hansen stuff- it works really well.

My boyfriend's brother/eventual bro in law is getting married in a small courthouse ceremony tomorrow--yay!--followed by a reception at a nice local Italian restaurant. I've mentioned this couple before, and while we've addressed one issue, what to get them to help out with their not-so-ideal wedding situation (SO is cutting them a large check...bro was working too much for bachelor party. *sighs*), there's another problem I have yet to figure out.
I have no idea what to wear to a courthouse wedding!
According to SO's aunt, "dressy casual...nice pants and a nice top, maybe a dress." According to his mother, "after five dress." SO originally said he was going to wear nice pants and a shirt, but informed me tonight that he pulled out his suit. So I'm...confused.
Should I go for something more like option one, two, or three? There's also a simple brown sundress I could wear, but that seemed a little too rural for his family.
And yes, in case you were wondering, that's my dorky "Hi weddingbee!" face in the first photo. :P
