Hey, no images (at least for me)?
I'd say a pashmina is a pretty safe bet, or boleros are in style right now.
Pictures didn't show? Hmm... Lemme try uploading instead of linking...
The thing about boleros is that I'm afraid it will make the top look too busy (because of the ruffles on the dress). Unless there are boleros that are a bit plain or not elaborate?
(crossing fingers that pictures show up now)
I'm a big fan of the coloured cardigan look!

But maybe this is too casual?
Ooo, a cardigan! That'd be cute! And it would be something I'd be able to wear again after the wedding. Thanks for the idea!
So now it's between a pashmina and a cardigan. The pashmina would probably be comfier but the cardigan would be less likely to fall off me. Both would keep me warm though, and that's what matters :-)

Hey gals, I need some help/suggestions. I'm getting married in February, but it's in Puerto Rico so there's no danger of me freezing in my wedding dress in our outdoors ceremony. However, the reception will be in an air-conditioned hotel and since I'm almost always cold, it's very likely that I'll get cold during the reception.
Thing is, I don't know what kind of covering (pashmina? bolero? sweater? wrap? what?) would look good with my dress. Here's a picture of the unaltered top of the dress:
I'm having it altered to convert it from a halter-top to a tank-top (two straps running vertically on my back), and I'm having the ruffles sewn down so they don't stick up like that. I think the ruffles will wind up sitting on top of my shoulders once they're sewn down, but I'm not sure.
I'll also be wearinig a teeny little veil that hits on my back just below the shoulders. Don't know if that's significant or not, but may as well mention it. And here's what the entire dress looks like -- http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/1329/dressu.jpg (before alterations).
So back to the question -- what can I wear when I get cold, that will look good with this dress?
