What if you combined pearls and diamonds/rhinestones for an antiqued look? I don't think you are forced to go with gold jewelry just because there's gold on your dress. Fabric gold and jewelry gold are really different things.
I agree, pearls are a great compromise; they go well with silver and gold tones...win win!
most pearls I've liked still have metal involved--- gold or white gold? I kinda like these what do you think?
I also saw a show about moonstone for bridal jewelry, and some of it is gorgeous! I got a moonstone ring in HS as a gift, and wasn't that excited about it, but it is now one of the rings I wear the most!
Here's the jewelry I wore with my ivory/gold dress (and platinum e-ring/band).
oh, and I was just searching for something else on jcrew, and they have some jewelry that could work, depending on what look you want...at the time I was searching 'butterscotch' for clothing, but you could just look at the jewelry...as I said on my other post, you can put EXTRA20 to get add'l 20% off sale items!
Okay, I could be out of line, but metallics are neutrals and so are whites. So where whatever color you want! :P
Personally I love to mx metallics, I think it's very chic.
Pearls area really good option! You definitely don't have to wear gold jewelry just because there's gold on your dress.

My engagement ring is white gold, and I only wear this type of jewelry. I can't even think of the last time I wore yellow gold! So I didn't think about this before, but I ordered my dress in ivory w/ gold stitching... now I come to the problem of what I should wear for jewelry with the gold stitching?? I am beginning to stress out about this and any input is appreciated!
The link below is the dress that I ordered, and according to the website it is shown in the ivory/gold that I ordered for anyone who may want to see what I mean!
