We wrote “save the date, x and x are getting married” with the date on the front. On the back we wrote “formal invitation to follow” along with our wedding website / code for our app.

AndysCraftsNmore:  We wrote “We hope to see you there! Love, ” and then our names. Also make sure you include “Formal Invitation to Follow” somewhere on there, because we’ve already had an issue where someone thought the STD was an invite and couldn’t figure out how to RSVP or where the wedding was (even though we listed the location, lol). Also maybe include something like “to find more information or to RSVP visit our website” because so far our website has had very little traffic, and I’m kind of bummed. I was hoping a bunch of people would RSVP onces they got the STD’s.

Ours was simple, no info other then our wedding date. Reading the above comments, maybe “formal invite to follow” on the back would have been helpful as 1 or 2 people did think it was the invitation lol. I love how they turned out though 🙂 We’re having an ‘Alice in Wonderland’ theme with an elegant modern twist 😉 xx

MuseForever:  Yeah it’s worked out really well! I recommend if you haven’t set up your site yet, it’s called appy couple.

Tbmtb:  that’s so neat! Is it for droid and iPhone? I would just wonder how many people would actually download an app vs go to a website.

I planned on using a wedding chicks STD template  unless I just go ahead and make my own. I would like to put my actual website on there but it will be a postcard with no envelope. What do you think?
