We’re not doing a popcorn bar perse, but at each place setting there will be a bag tied to the napkin with our welcome note/menu and will also double as the bag for guests to get popcorn from the vintage popcorn cart that we rented. I want to have a side table for toppings. What are your suggestions? It would need to be something guests can just sprinkle and shake into the bag (not sauces–sad, I love chocolate! lol)
I was thinking some sort of ranch mix (I’m from the South), a pizza type mix, a cheese mix, and cinnamon/sugar.
What do you think? Any other ideas???

Sea Salt; Garlic powder/ salt; cocoa powder since you can’t do a sauce; I would do a spicy ranch as well!

mmm cocoa powder sounds great. there are different kinds of salt that you could get…they don’t taste much different (unless they’re flavored) but that would be cool. apparently nutritional yeast is also good…but that is kinda weird!

MM powder carmel or something. Maybe something spicy also?

Butter & salt. Sometimes kennel corn (I think that is what its called.) All while sipping a cherry coke! MMMMMM Now I want some! (Btw, my suggestions are boring at best.) But PP’s have great ideas!

@peachacid: I think nutritional yeast is super yummy on popcorn, but my FI thinks it tastes like air. It ends up with a sort of cheesy taste if you’re into it though.

@Neetch: Those all sound REALLY good!

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: Hahah, thanks! We make homemade popcorn a lot, I’m always experimenting with toppings.

I like caramel popcorn, kettle corn, and cheesy popcorn! Maybe a chocolate drizzled popcorn?
Eta: Oops missed the no sauce part!

Oh! Also, kettle corn isn’t supposed to be that hard to make, I would consider that as another option as well.
