What transportation are you having on your wedding day?

I have 5 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen, so 12 people altogether.  We have been having an extremely hard time trying to find luxury cars or limos that fit our budget range and can fit all of us.

We noticed that many rental companies dont rent out for just 1 day and only rent out for the entire weekend.  Our wedding date is in June, so since it is a busy season, I guess that is how they try to make money.

What method of transportation are you using for your wedding?  How much does it cost?

I have an even bigger party 18 plus two flower girls and a ring bearer... I didn't want to have to split us up in to two limos so I'm leaning toward the trolley route. I've gotten quotes in the Philadelphia area on a holiday weekend for $900 to $1,200 for four hours, which is all I personally need. School buses can be a fun retro way to go (albeit there's no AC) but you can usually rent them for $600 and there are also higher quality bus rentals out there. I myself did not run into any issues with places renting for more than one day most were only for four hours flat rate and additional hours were X dollars.

My friend wants her wedding party, plus any of the bridesmaidss or groomsmen's  significant other to be part of the celebration after the wedding ceremony.  To accomodate the 20+people she rented a coach bus. I'm not sure how much it costed, but her sister did the same thing with a budget of $10,000. So, it seems very doable for almost anyone's budget.

We also have a GINORMOUS party of 26-clearly no luxury limos for us either.  I also felt it was crazy to pay $400 for a bus to drive us LESS THAN TWO MILES.  I could get cabs for everyone for cheaper than that!  We're going retro (and budget friendly) by borrowing a Z3 convertible for my F and myself, then having the wedding party carpool in about 5-6 cars and create a giant spectacle downtown, honking and such.  Who doesn't like seeing the bride and groom driving around?!  Now it's just a matter of how to decorate and designate the VIP entourage :)
