I am a bit of both but mostly I like to get things done! If the dishes need to be done I can't relax if they are not done. If bills need to paid I have to pay them right when I think about them or I can't sleep at night even if they aren't due yet. (I know I am a bit neurotic)
But when it comes to work projects I need to some pressure to get shit done, ya know?
I procrastinate, unless it's something I enjoy.
Actually, even when I enjoy it I sometimes procrastinate!
I am pretty much the definition of type-A personality, lol. As defined by wikipedia, "high-achieving workaholics who multi-task, drive themselves with deadlines, and are unhappy about delays". Yup, that's me.
When it comes to the wedding I like to get things done. I am super organized... Other things... I procrastinate.
I agree with @krissy and @hilsy..I CANNOT relax until everything is organized, it its place, ready to go...
I use costers, always hang up my coat, clean all dishes as soon as I use them, write out lists and fill out my planner/cell phone/calanders, make my bed before I leave the house, and swiffer everyday...so I'm clean but beyond that, I can't stand having ends untied...and everytime I can "cross something off my list" I'm a VERY happy girl!
I like to get things done and out of the way. I'm super organized with everything, and FI laughs at the fact that some of the wedding diy's are already getting done when we've got a year.
As much as I try and deny it sometimes... I completely procrastinate and then work under the pressure.
@sulli: I LOVE lists! I make them constantly, just because I love the feeling of being able to check stuff off :)
im a bitof both too - at home, if its dirty it MUST be cleaned, with wedding stuff i want it done now rather than later,
with work though i work better when theres a deadline looming!
@Bamboo: I'm exactly the same way! I put things off until the pressure is REALLY on...and yea it's stressful while I'm trying to get something done by the deadline after putting it off for so long...but man, I get great results! So until it blows up in my face...I'll probably keep procrastinating! haha
im totally a get things out of the way type of girl!! i bought my dress on my second day of shopping and my wedding is still over a year away!!
It depends what it is that needs to get done. With housework and schoolwork (before I graduated) I always procrastinate!
totally depends what it is! with work, i procrastinate. with wedding-related things, which i'm finding so much more fun, i get it done!
I'm one of those people if its on my list it must be checked off quickly!! ( which is good because im in nursing school and procrastination pretty much =death of grades lol)
procrastinator! I only now just got cable and still havent done the internet yet...and i have lived at my new house for 3 months! i just get lazy...haha

Well, THIS is what I hate about me. Why do I do it? There is NO rational reason and it just causes more stress in my life!
i was the girl in school that everybody hated because i always had my papers finished the second the assigment was given out.
and now i've had the wedding planned pretty much since we were engaged. it's pretty nice not to have anything to do now!
I am the organizer, so I like to get things done and out of the way.
depends what it is for. if it is for something i'm not excited about i procrastinate. otherwise i'm on top of stuff.

If you have something that needs to be done...do you get it done right away or are you a procrasinator?
I have become such a procrastinator over the years! I literally can't do something until its down to the wire and get that anxiety. I thrive off it for some reason and rational me can't stand it! I think the problem is that I always get it done, I've never had anything blow up in my face...
