I think if you go with a simple overbustle, you can take the top of that embroidered/beaded part from the bottom of the skirt and lift it up towards where the skirt’s gathered at the waist.  It should be really pretty.

A simple over bustle is always my first go to but my dress was a heavy lace and I did this…and it lasted maybe the first hour of my reception before breaking. No matter what you do I recommend having multiple hooks to better support the weight. I don’t have a specific bustle style recommendation but wanted to make sure you don’t end up carring your dress around your whole reception like it did πŸ™‚

I would suggest a french bustle, or some other kind of underbustle that still shows the detail on the end of your train. I say that because of the dropped waist–an overbustle would have to be secured at the lowered waistline of the dress, and I think it would look odd sitting that low on your backside. And french bustles also tend to include more points than overbustles, and would probably be more secure and less prone to breaking.

    Gorgeous dress by the way!

I just ordered ASM3297 too! I would LOVE to see pictures of you in the dress, since the only “real” pictures I’ve seen are the pictures of the real brides on the website. This is the only bustled image I’ve been able to find of it. I originally ordered a different dress but just couldn’t get this one out of my head! Sooo now I have to sell my first dress! Anyway… post pictures if you have any! I’d love you for it!

I would also say French bustle, because it will keep the details of the train, and I would think it would be slightly more secure because it’s held up by more points perhaps? Not sure if thats true, but it makes sense!
