We're going to dance to "Out of the Blue" by The Band. It is in 6/8 time but has very strong 1 and 3 beats. It's too fast for a traditional waltz. Any ideas how to dance to it?
The song would typically be a Viennese Waltz but it's a harder dance to learn in a short amount of time (technical footwork-wise) if you both don't have some sort of dance background. I would dance using the regular waltz steps adapted to the song.

My sister pointed me to this as a useful resource:

I don't know the song, though, so there maybe something else you could do with it.
Best of luck!
