I was wondering, are there any small chested brides to be out there who have had trouble finding a dress that looks great on them up top?
I fit into either a 36A or 34B. Is there a certain neckline that looks better on smaller chested women? The few dresses I’ve tried really seem to completely flatten me out. I feel like a 10 year old boy!

I had a sweetheart neckline, but not a deep one. I also wore a really good strapless (and somewhat padded) bra AND I asked them to sew cups into my dress. I had all kinds of help!
Here’s a pic:
Wohooo! Cleavage 🙂
ETA- I was also a 34B, and 7 weeks pregnant so I may have had even MORE additional “help” via bloating.

I have the same size chest and had the same exact problem. I feel like sweetheart is the best way to accent what you got. I think a fit and flare or something slimming also helps, because your chest won’t be competing with the puffiness of a gown.
This is the dress I will be wearing. I remember one of the first comments I made after putting it on was how good it made my boobs look. Haha

Pretty much anything Jenny Packham! But a 34B isn’t small, don’t be silly 🙂

I have a semi sweetheart neckline and Im a 36B and I am having cups sewn in and adding a great strapless bra with some padding in as well.

Definitely go with a sweetheart cut; it accentuates the girls 😉

A sweetheart neckline will work if you’re B cup, but if you’re A-cup it may make you look smaller, because it draws attention to the boobs, so if they are small it draws attention to that too.
Necklines-wise,the other choices are:
- An illusion neckline over a sweetheart neckline, which helps to distract from the smallness of the boobs. Like in that first Jenny Packham above.
- Jewel necklines, where the material goes right up to your collar like a necklace. Often done as a halter neck style.
- Bateau/boat neck
- A completely straight strapless. Straight necklines look horrible on a lot of people, but not on small-busted girls.
- Scoop/u-shaped – like a ballerina wears. Looks good on most people.
