I have so many projects that I want to do now that my wedding is over!! I can't wait to get our professional pictures and create my own albums.  I'm also planning to make a wedding scrapbook where I'll put photos, our invitation, ceremony program, menu, etc.  I think I'll also buy large fancy box to keep all important wedding things in such as my shoes, garter, jewery, veil, etc.

Does anyone else have some creative ideas for wedding keepsakes?

I'll be making a flush-mount album with our wedding photos.  We made a photobook of our engagement photos that people signed as our guest book so that is also a keepsake.  My brother and sister made us a super fancy/gorgeous scrapbook with the invitation, program, pics of bachelor/bachelorette party, pics of shower, ceremony/reception pics, etc as our wedding present.  I'm going to get all of the cards we received bound together in a book too!

Hmm, I haven't given it a lot of thought yet... but I do like FutureKMM's idea of getting the cards bound in a book! I always keep cards... birthday cards, Christmas cards, whatever cards... and then years later, when I'm moving or having a serious purge session, I find them all and end up throwing them away. :( I've kept all my shower cards so far, and I know I'll be keeping the wedding ones too - having them bound in a book/album would make them easy to store/look at when I wanted too. Hmm... *makes mental note*

My photographer is making us an album as his wedding gift to us (he's a close friend of mine from college), so I won't have to work on that. I did register for a big, multi-picture frame that I'd like to put wedding photos in... if someone gets it for us.

The only "project" I've really thought about is what to do with my dress. It's satin and lace, fit-and-flare, so there's really no way to have it altered into anything that won't look like a wedding dress. I told FI that I wanted to have it made into a tablecloth; I was joking at the time, but I'm beginning to think it might not be such a bad idea. What else am I going to do with it? I really love it and don't want to sell it (I doubt I'd get much for it anyway), and as I said, it's always going to look like a wedding dress... or a fancy tablecloth. lol

I think I will just make an album. For now. I would love to do that scrapbook type thing - to start a scrapbook of our married life with that being the beginning, but I just dont have the energy right now!

I'm doing an album and parents album.

I am also hoping to finish a scrabook type thing started before we got engaged...and haven't update (though a family friend offered to finish it for me ;D)

I would like to make a shadow box to hang on the wall with dried flowers from the bouquet, invitation, and a few other keepsakes.

@FutureMrsSpinewiz:  I've known people who will make christening gowns for their kids out of their dresses. A good idea if you are hving kids and they will be baptized...

I have put up wedding pics, but not much else.  Planning on doing a flush mount album eventually, but not sure what else. I had a silk bouquet, so it is currently sitting in a vase from the wedding with some of the stones we used as centerpieces. I also want to do a scrap book of all items we have left over...
