I love that necklace personally. A strapless sweetheart is very versitile and I think you can go with pretty much any style you would like.
@red_pepper_gal: LOVE that necklace. with a sweetheart neckline I think that either a strand of pearls or a Y shaped pendant necklace looks best.
I say stick with simple, dont wanna take away from you or that beautiful gown!
Strand of pearls or delicate sterling silver necklace with diamond pendant, descending tear drops or something small! =) Hope that makes sense! Best of luck!
i think that neclace goes great! another option with that dress is to skip the necklace and go with awesome earrings. thats what i did after searching for and buying a couple of necklaces. and I LOVE that i only wore earrings and a bracelet. i had a sweet heart neckline as well and had many people tell me that i shouldnt wear a necklace at all.
I tend to wear sweetheart-necklined dresses when I get dressed up and go by one or two options:
- if the dress is complicated with lots of beading, etc - i wear something choker length, usually a thin simple chain and pendant or simple strand of pearl/etc.
- if the dress is very simple, I go for a very blingy "Y" shaped necklace.
That necklace goes really good. It's not to long so it won't go in your clevage. The double strands is a good idea since a strapless shows so much chest that it'll fill in the space nicely. Your dress is beautiful. I love it, and the detail on the necklace matches the detail on the dress (as far as I can tell)
I LOVE your dress - simply gorgous. I think any necklace that you choose will be perfect.
Martha Stewart Weddings just put out an article about this! What a coincidence: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/photogallery/bridal-jewelry-by-wedding-dress-neckline-style#slide_1
For the record though, I think the necklace you pictured would be gorgeous :)
What a pretty necklace, I think they would look great together!
With that neckline, I would think a choker would be your best bet. Go for that necklace!

I'm wondering what kind of necklace you wore with your sweetheart dress. I'm considering this one from etsy seller LuluSplendor:
With this dress (Dalby by Blue by Enzonai).
Any thoughts?
