    Helloo!! :)

Although I've got plenty of time to be worrying about invitations, I'm obsessed with all things wedding right now, and have been focusing on invitation designs, as I will be DIY'ing them.

Thus my question, what type of program and printer would be best suited for printing and designing the ceremony/reception information? (On colored Cardstock).

I had originally wanted a photo printer, just because, and my current printer just won't be up to the task of printing so many invitations ( 150-175).

So... just looking for some suggestions :)

    Thanks!!!!

I don't have a set range right now although I'd probably like to stick within the $175 -200 range. I'd love to read the options you've found in your searching, Regardless of price. What were your findings?

I used my regular printer. I have a Canon All-In-One, about a year old. It handled the cardstock from an invite kit just fine. I made sure to print them on the BEST setting and tried to adjust them to make them just slightly darker than normal. They came out looking great!

Also, you MUST MUST MUST have extra to play with in order to get the layout right and to allow for goof ups. I had plenty. I also printed tests on the back sides of the goof ups to save paper.
