What type of saree/lehengas look good on a chinese?

Are you getting it made or buying off the rack? Why don’t you go to an indian costume tailor and look at some fabric swatches, or better still, actually try on some saree or lehengas in the shop to see what looks good?

@K2428:  I’m thinking reds pinks or purples would be nice to offset your “yello skin”. Trying them on is the best option

@K2428:  I’m Asian and I’ve seen Asian friends of mine dress up in saris and lehengas. Colors that look good on yellow skin: Pink, fuschia, red, dark purple. Stay away from yellows and greens.

I think red would look awesome on you.

If you’re short go for the skirt and top option. If you’re tall go for a saree.

@K2428:  it’s beautiful is it a coral red? You shouldn’t have as problem finding something that suits, that’s the great thing about south asian wedding wear- any colour goes! Xx
