I wore an ivory all-lace dress and ended up going with a green satin shoe. I thought it complemented the dress best. I thought about doing lace shoes, but I’m glad I didn’t as I think that would have been too much lace.

Satin sounds good…I would try the plum and see how it looks. Also, how much of your shoes is visible under your hem?

Alot of girls have been wearing blue heels also for their something blue, which I think is kind of fun!

Satin sounds great–I think I would lean towards a peep toe for a September date (over a pump) but it depends on the shoe!

I’m wearing an all lace (lots!!) dress and I’ll be wearing vintage 30’s leather mary janes.  They’re off white with a fairly thick heel, about 2.5 inches, round toe, leather strap across the top with a button closure.. BUT I am going to be dyeing them light blue.

I can’t find a picture of anything like mine but this website has a lot of similarly styled shoes and I hear that dance shoes like this are supposed to be SUPREMELY comfortable!
