what if you did a satin with like a sheer overlay? maybe that would bring the satin and chiffon together a little bit. kinda like this? in your colors obviously

i love the idea of gold chargers, it would look regal and elegant with the satin tablecloths.
I agree with Pp about doing an organza sheer overlay! You could even use a poly tablecloth underneath and then th organza overlay on top. I wouldn't do the organza and satin though, that would be a lot of competing texture.Eggplant is a great fall purple!
I would also do the gold chargers. Is your other color maroon/burgandy? If it were up to me, I would pick a ivory napkin to go with gold chargers and eggplant tablcloths.
I work at a party rental co so I know all about tablecloths, chargers, china, glassware, etc. Let me know if you have any questions about sizing!

Hey Bees,
So I am getting married next September, and the theme of the wedding is "Fall". The wedding is at a very elegant country club overlooking a golf course. My dress is the Alfred Angelo "Cinderalla" dress, and the girls is an Eden chiffon dress past the knees.
Since the dresses are a purple chiffon, I was wondering if I could still do satin tableclothes in a dark purple or if I should stick with a non satin fabric (not to mention cheaper). I love the boldness of the satin, but I'm worrying that with the chiffon dresses it would look weird.
The centerpeices are black lanterns with candles and berrys surrounding them.
Any ideas? It think I'm having some bridal anxiety when in fact it prob. wont make a huge difference to anyone but me.
Also, Which makes a bigger impact? Gold chargers with a plain maroon napkin or no charger with a satin fun fabric napkin?
