We want to have a create your own sundae bar and/or create your own donut for our favor(if not, just yummy glazed donuts!)…we are also having an open air photobooth(our photographer calls it the not a booth-photobooth), which should be a lot of fun for our guests!! That is the ideas we have right now, but we have a lot of time! What types of fun, different, or unique thing are you all doing or did at your wedding reception…or even your ceremony?! 🙂

My husband is from Michigan and his favorite ice cream is Superman or Blue Moon ice cream, which is only available in the Midwest. So for his wedding gift, I had Superman ice cream flown in overnight and surprised him with it at the reception after we cut the cake. So our guests had ice cream and cake! (Personally, I think the ice cream looks and tastes heinous!)

Ohh no! lol. What does it taste like? I kind of like the way it looks.

I’d like to see fun things that were done too so am bumping this…
That ice cream looks like play dough, but very sweet of you to get some shipped to you.

We had our wedding ceremony atop a moutain and had our guests ride a ski lift to get there (we did have an alternative to get there but out of our 120 guests only 4-5 decided to opt for the alternative). It was a huge hit.

Are you ready for this??!! I managed to get the NFL’s HOUSTON TEXANS Pep Band to surprise my Boo-skey, my guests, even the vendors. We are the biggest and most obnoxious fans!!! No one knew and it was a tough secret to keep. But the response was amazing. GO TEXANSSSSSS!!!!!

We gave out oak trees as our favours.
We played the Newlywed shoe game, and it was such a hit. So much fun!

@katieebee: Holy crow! That trumps mine! My Darling Husband would have LOVED that! (If it were Green Bay, haha)
There was a fountain outside our Church, across the street. We had a fun photo shoot there, “pretending” we were falling in the water, etc. (I guess that’s in the unique category but it’s fun to look at the pics now, too!)
