What vases to put curly willow in?

If you purchased the curly willow, it should be straight on one end.  The straight (non-curly) part is how high the vase needs to be to hold it.  But wth high flowers/branches/etc., you should always put some weight in the bottom of the vase like marbles/stones/stand to keep it all stable.  If you set the ends on the branches into the sand (etc.,) that will increase the stability as they won’t move around in the vase.

@Tarheelgurl:  if the vases are not transparent, regular (nonclumping cat litter works great too.  Easy to buy, cheap, convenient sized bags.

@Tarheelgurl:  Look at this pic. It looks like it might be stuck into some sort of floral foam and covered with moss? Just a thought as something like this might work
