I would go with a traditional veil without the lace, as your dress doesn't have any lace. But that's just me!
Oh, and you look gorgeous!
Thanks for the opinion and compliment, I was kind of thinking that too, but I still looove the lace edged veils... My dress does have a few lace appliques (sp?) that are on the hip and bust that kind of wrap from front to back, but they don't really show in the picture.
I say do the lace - they're gorgeous veils!
My friend got her elbow length, single layer mantilla veil from this site - they have really nice stuff:
I say go for the lace! I actually have a similar dress (Casablanca 1831) and am planning on making a shoulder length circle/drop veil edged in lace. I originally thought that I couldn't do a mantilla because my dress doesn't have any lace on it but then I realized it really doesn't make that big of a difference.
I second the website that MrsLeopard pointed you to. I don't know about buying from them, but they provided me with some great inspiration!

I had a horrible experience with weddingveil.com (including having them threaten to sue me if I posted a negative review about them). I got a mantilla and it came with stains and burn marks on it. They refunded me the cost, but refused to refund the shipping costs (despite their website stating that they would refund shipping as well if it was their error). (I wrote about it in this post: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/bad-experience-with-weddingveilcom)
I wound up getting my mantilla from bloomingveils.com. It's a small company and the woman who makes the veils is the person you deal with. I really liked my veil, but was a little disappointed that some of the embelishments were glued on rather than sewn on. But I loved the look of the veil so much, the glue wasn't noticeable, the veil was very reasonable and the quality was otherwise perfect, so I kept it.
I think your dress is so simple and elegant that you could pretty much wear any veil you want.
It's a gorgeous dress and you look beautiful in it!
I would say that anything would go with your dress I would just make sure it is at least elbow length. I would just keep trying them on with your dress till you find it.
I vote lace also. Try to stay with the same type of lace - Alencon, venice, chantilly - that is on your dress it's difficult to tell on lthe photo.
The perfect dress for you - it's wonderful!

My dress is in (yay!) and I am going tonight to try it on and look at veils. I definitely know I want a drop veil, but am not sure what length... Cathedral, Elbow something else? Also I love the look of the lace edges/mantilla style veil worn as a drop veil but am not sure if lace would look right with my dress... Opinions please? PS Please excuse the facial expression... we were trying to take pics quickly!
