I think it depends on the level of jewelry you’ll have, you could have more of an amped veil with the dress if you go with simple jewelry. I think though if you want fancy jewelry you should definetly go for a more simple veil, you don’t want people to just notice your accessories. Remember you can ‘go big’ but don’t go too big! 🙂

I have recently bought the Isadora Marie and was wondering the same thing.

I personally think that if you can’t get a veil to match the same lace on the dress then just a plain tulle veil. Also, because the Isadora has such a stunning long train a long veil may wreck that. I think keep the veil ‘short’.

Hope that helps. Good luck!

I am using my mom’s veil with my Isadora.

It is very vintage and it has a full blown Juliet cap that I might actually remove. But the lace appliques on the edges match the dress perfectly and I am so excited to be able to use my mother’s veil.

It is a bold choice for the dress but everyone has said they love them together.

I know what you mean about this dress being hard to find with other brides! When I fell in love with it I of course wanted to track down pictures of other brides in it but there just aren’t many at all!

My consultant didn’t mention anything about a slip, it did not seem to stick to my legs but I might have been so dazzled by myself in the mirror I didn’t notice. It also was full enough for my 5’4 height so I don;t plan on adding any more fluff with a crinoline. I will admit that I plan on going braless though! I figure they can seam it up to be fitted enough so I do not have to. Any sort of corset or awful girdle just seems to add to my bust and I am trying to avoid that.

I just tried this on–it was the second dress I have ever tried on and it may be the one i end up getting!

Anyways, as for a veil i asked the same question. The consultant suggested that I could even order extra material and have a custom-made veil of the same material as the skirt (with the appliques etc. ) to really match. OF COURSE, that would be more expensive, but that is just an option.

LOVE THE DRESS! It looks gorgeous!

I’m wearing the Isadora too! I haven’t decided for sure on a veil yet, but a simple crystal beaded elbow length is what I tried on with it. It looked really pretty and I didn’t feel like it took anything away from the dress.
