I was just curious what vitamins everyone on here takes? I've recently started taking the centrum multi and a vitamin D3. I want to start a good routine now while im in my 20's.. Any suggestions?

I take a B vitamin, and usually a prenatal vitamin. Ive never been pregnant, but my hair dresser said its good for your hair and nails! Also, an iron pill is always a good idea for women( like repliva)

I take the One-A-Day womens and a few health ones, but I usually vary which ones I take due to my mood.

hey there,i love these posts!! The welness centre i work in has a naturopath and we sell vitamins, health foods etc. I am unsure why, but the naturopath and the business owners hate hate hate centrum vitamins (thats what i used to take to, until a big lecture lol) that being said i think its better than not taking anything at all. You need to get a womans multi vitamin, not just a broad spectrum one, as men and womens needs differ. I take microgenics womens multi vitamin  and i also take a vitamin b supplement as i have crohns disease, this helps with my energy levels and i dont feel as lethargic.

Lots of woman seem to b group deficient, its crazy!!

Hmm i am interested in the reasoning why they are against  centrum? Technically i bought "store brand" centrum..

I'll have to look into Vitamin B, i do feel pretty lathargic if im not working out or drinking coffee ! Laughing

A friend of mine went to a natural clinic and they made him hold minerals and raise a arm and something with the pressure(?) made them decided what his body was lacking. I'd love to do that.

@potatochips - I take a flintstone's gummy every day. They are the best. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only adult taking a children's vitamin!

I also take D3, Super B, and Magnesium. I just read that taking Magnesium may help reduce cramps. Sign me up!!

@msbrew - if you take magnesium, make you do not take it with calcium because it counteracts its effects. This is weird because most magnesium is sold as a MG / CA combination.

I have B complex and Fish Oil capsules in my cupboard. I don't take them as often as I should...only when I remember!

My mom is a vitamin freak and every time we talk on the phone she asks me if I'm taking my B complex and suggests other vitamins for me!

im not sure about the centrum, ill ask and get back to you on that one.

There is a guy that comes into work occasionally and does something like what you said with the arm raising etc, he uses this machine and dips the end of it in water and puts it on points of the body and it gives readings, he did it on me once when i hadnt had my period in 6 months, then gave me this "charged" gross awful drink which had some vitamins in it and 2 days later i got me period. Dont ask me what its called or what he does technically as i have no idea lol i was sceptical and maybe still am but it did ammend my issue., not sure.

Heheh flintstones vitamins , thats awesome. I havent seen them here in aust, but if i did i prob would take them too lol

Yeah magnesium is BRILLIANT for cramping, i give it too all my clients who have cramps and spasms (i do massage and beauty) You can get it in a spray also that i put on my hands after i have been massaging heaps and it seems to ease it very quickly.

ALMOSTDUFFY, is yours one of those silica type hair and nail products? I need something for my hair and silica didnt seem to work for me. Let me know, i want some!!!
